Does car colour really matter?
Car colour matters, yes, because it’s the only thing standing in the way of an invisible car and that would be really cool

Tell us something that frightens you the most?
I’m scared of doormen and geese, they look at you funny

Happiest day of your motoring life?
Cocking about in a bowler wildcat offroader; for one moment I thought I could really do it. And then I crashed. But the car still worked so I carried on. Still feel the whiplash

What car would you love to drive and haven’t yet driven?
An original AC Cobra: a rubbish, overpowered, ridiculous thing. Perfect

What makes a car cool?
Not being owned by a footballer or any of us kind of helps. And it can’t shout ‘look at me’ too loudly. But not being owned by us is the most important

Greatest driving song?
Sweet Home Alhabama by lynrd skynrd. Not for everyone, you either get it or you
don’t. I love it

Which car would you recommend for the following?
John Terry: John Terry: is he a footballer? Range rover sport then. Who cares anyway, get him a bike, he needs to keep fit

Simon Cowell: Anything massive, expensive and massive. And expensive

Gordon Brown: A small, beige rover The Queen Pagani Zonda F. An orange one. Well, she’s the queen and she can have what she bloody well wants and that would be cool. Cheer us all up

Cheryl Cole: Dustbin lorry
